When KSI and Logan Paul first crossed paths, they paved the way for influencer boxing. When they finally laid to rest their rivalry, they set up a hydration company, Prime, which quickly flew off the shelves. Notably, Prime had revenue of almost $250 million in 2022. As per some reports, Prime might collect over $600 million in revenues this year. How did Prime achieve that?
The unique marketing approach by Logan Paul and KSI helped Prime. The duo are the ambassadors of the drink and have played an instrumental role in assisting Prime to sign lucrative deals. Currently, UFC, Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and players like Erling Haaland endorse the drink. More importantly, Logan Paul and KSI know how to seize headlines and turn heads with their wacky campaigns with Prime.
Recently, the duo launched a $1,000,000 Gold Prime Contest to celebrate the sale of the billionth Prime bottle. The participants stand a chance to win a 24K Solid Gold Prime Bottle worth $500,000. However, the trio’s brand portfolio is not limited to the business side of things. Jake Paul is eyeing a boxing world title in three years.
Jake Paul and his ascendance in the boxing world
‘The Problem Child’ boasts an impressive 7-1 record and most recently rebounded with a win against Nate Diaz. The American influencer harbors a desire to claim the boxing gold strap and is steadily having a hold on the promotional world as well.
The 26-year-old, besides molding himself into a combat star, is the founder of Most Valuable Promotions. MVP held its first boxing event in May 2023, titled Most Valuable Prospects. The younger of the Paul brothers is trying to leave a lasting impact on boxing alongside his exploits in the ring.
MVP has not only produced his last fights but also signed Amanda Serrano. The MVP and Paul have an exciting lineup of fighters, including Shadasia Green. Their deal with DAZN has only advanced their cause, and that’s something none of the traditional boxers have dared to venture into. Meanwhile, influencers and dominance in combat sports continue to grow. For instance, Logan Paul’s exploits with WWE and his blockbuster boxing fight with Dillon Danis.
The art of selling fights and a booming career in WWE and boxing
High-flying, risk-taking Logan Paul is a natural fit for WWE. He added another laurel by recently becoming the WWE United States champion. Further, his and KSI’s Prime Card featuring Tommy Fury sold almost $1.3 million in PPVs. As a result, even when they lose, they still find a way to win. The influencers are therefore winning in every sphere of sports and are continuing to make further inroads into the combat world.

KSI, in particular, due to his association with Sidemen and his music industry accolades, feels omnipresent. Markedly, he also founded Mistfits Boxing, a boxing promotion company that caters to fellow influencers who want to test their skills inside the ring.
“With Misfits, we’re trying to make it as big as the UFC. As big as WWE. [Misfits is] based on entertainment, with boxing included into it. I think the sky’s the limit,” KSI told SportsPro. Boxing remains KSI, Jake, and Logan Paul’s passion and an integral part of their careers. But they are making it big due to their marketability and their entrepreneurial skills in selling fights and products, something traditional boxers need to learn from instead of simply scoring over them.
