A few days ago, Ryan Garcia stunned the boxing world when he attempted Floyd Mayweather‘s shoulder roll during practice ahead of the Devin Haney fight scheduled for April 20th. In slow motion, the 25-year-old threw a hook to the body and then changed levels while angling out. However, Garcia maintained an even gap between his feet and looked awkward as he tried the shoulder roll.

On the other hand, his coach Derrick James, who is not a fan of Garcia’s beloved move, looked dejected. Now, Garcia disappointed Olympic Bronze medalist Tony Jeffries while on the mitts. As per Jeffries, Garcia’s behavior with his trainer was unacceptable. Well, here is what he said.

Lately, Ryan Garcia uploaded pairing videos to impress his fans. In the videos, Garcia looked aggressive. And while in proximity, ‘KingRy’ was able to land hooks and uppercuts. To maintain the momentum, Garcia now uploaded a brief clip of him hitting the mitts. As per the video, while Derrick James sat outside the ring, Garcia’s father Henry Garcia held the mitts for ‘KingRy’. In addition to landing some fast jabs, Garcia was heard saying, “Come on get into the combo.” However, this behavior of Garcia’s did not please Tony Jeffries.

As a result, taking to X, Jeffries wrote, “Come on get into the combo” If I spoke to my trainer like this, I would of got a slap haha.

In this context, after Jeffries retweeted Garcia’s post, a fan was in agreement with Tony. Likewise, they said, “Lad if i said that to any of my coaches id get put in a bodybag.”

On the other hand, a fan claimed Garcia’s workout videos looked like ‘KingRy’ was “doing a skit for YouTube.”

Meanwhile, one argued that Haney did “everything better” than Garcia.
