In the annals of boxing history, few names resonate as powerfully as Mike Tyson. During his prime, he was an unstoppable force, earning the moniker of ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet.’ ‘Iron Mike’s’ ferocity, combined with his lightning-fast knockout punches, struck fear into the hearts of his opponents and thrilled fans worldwide. Yet, as with many legends, his invincibility gradually waned as he faced personal struggles outside the ring, ultimately impacting his in-ring performances.
Tyson’s early boxing career was nothing short of extraordinary. Bursting onto the professional scene with an unprecedented blend of power and speed, he swiftly rose through the ranks. However, his first defeat was a shocking upset at the hands of James ‘Buster’ Douglas in 1990. Douglas considered the underdog, delivered a devastating knockout in the tenth round, bringing Tyson’s undefeated reign to an end. In addition, this was not the last time ‘Iron Mike’ was knocked out in the ring.

A year later, he entered the ring for one last hurrah against Danny ‘The Brixton Bomber’ Williams. His last fight would come in 2005 where he was knocked out by Kevin McBride in the sixth round.
