For a considerable length of time, Jake Paul has desired to test his boxing skills against KSI. Lately, ahead of Jake Paul’s upcoming match with Andre August, there were talks about KSI and ‘The Problem Child’ finally sharing the ring.

However, the weight became an issue since Jake Paul wanted to fight KSI at 185 lbs. In this context, the Co-president of Misfits has now suggested a solution to the problem surrounding KSI vs. ‘The Problem Child’.

Initially, Jake Paul’s manager Nakisa Bidarian stated that Paul would fight KSI below his usual weight [185 lbs] if the winner was allowed to take the loser’s purse too. However, if KSI agreed to fight ‘The Problem Child’ at 185 lbs, Bidarin declared that Paul would gladly come to the UK for the fight. In his response to Bidarin, the Co-president of Misfits, Mams Taylor has now asked both sides to compromise for the sake of Jake Paul vs. KSI.

According to Mams Taylor, since KSI fought his last fight against Tommy Fury at 181 lbs, it is difficult for the CEO of Misfits to box Jake Paul at 185 lbs. Likewise, Taylor feels since Paul fought Nate Diaz at 185 lbs in his last bout, it is equally futile to ask ‘The Problem Child’ to come down to 175 lbs. As a result, Taylor hopes the duo will come down to 180 lbs should they wish to fight.

The reality is if this fight were to ever happen, both sides would have to compromise. JJ can’t expect Jake to fight at 175 lbs and Jake can’t expect 185 lbs. 180lbs. No one has an unfair advantage. Simple,” Taylor wrote on X.

Hopefully, Jake Paul will soon clarify whether or not he will box KSI at 180 lbs. However, for the time being, Paul’s entire focus is on his upcoming opponent, Andre August.

Paul must not underestimate his upcoming opponent

Unlike most of the fighters Paul has dealt with in the ring, Andre August is a professional boxer with a decade in the sport. As of now, the Cruiserweight boxer has a professional record of 1 loss and 10 wins. In addition, 5 of his victories have arrived by way of a knockout. Likewise, it is expected that August’s way of fighting Paul would be different from the MMA fighters who have boxed ‘The Problem Child.’
