Marikit Laurico, ‘Pretty Boy’ Mayweather’s personal assistant and manager passed away in the early days of June 2023. She worked with the boxing legend for the last decade. Of course, this has left a massive gap in his life. Further, it is not just him who is grieving the manager’s demise. His family who held her in very high regard also joins Floyd in remembering and celebrating her life.

Earlier today, Pretty Boy’s ex, Melissia Brim took to her Instagram in remembrance of the late ‘Kitchie.’ The manager has evidently made a spot in the Mayweather clan, and that is exactly why Melissia remembers her even now. She posted a story of Kitchie where she was also present and captioned it, “Miss your beautiful face, Kitchie.”

The boxer’s eldest daughter, Iyanna was born to them in 2000. However, a year later, it was reported that he assaulted his baby mama during an argument in a Las Vegas shopping center. He had received a suspended sentence for the same later.
Kitchie remains in memories and in hearts
Earlier in July, Floyd’s daughter Jirah Mayweather also took to social media to express her love for the late manager. She storied a post from her feed that showed an endearing side of the two mingling with each other. She captioned it, “Miss u.”

In the wake of Kitchie’s death, the daughter also wrote a heartwarming message. She remembered the times they had spent together to what their relationship entailed. The daughter wrote, ““You were definitely a blessing in my life & my family’s as well. We were just sitting ringside last weekend laughing & talking about how blessed we were. I think about how much I’m going to miss you.”

It is certain that the Mayweather family will feel the gap left behind by Kitchie for a long time to come. And rightly so. In the boxer’s later years, she was by him through the thick and thin. From getting him the most promising promos to being by him in adversities, she did it all. She was truly a manager who made a significant impact in their lives, and this cannot be disputed for eternities to come.
