“Money Ain’t Worth It When I Ain’t Coming Out There Alive”: Divided Fans Make “$100,000” Demand if They’d Ever Have to Spar Gervonta Davis

After his fight against Ryan Garcia, one thing is crystal clear. Gervonta Davis has serious power behind those punches. During his bout with Ryan, Davis delivered a crazy body shot to Ryan’s abdomen, ending the fight right then and there. Not to mention, ‘Tank’ has a 29-0 record, with 27 of them from a KO. With that, it’s safe to say Davis doesn’t mess around. So, getting in the ring with him would take someone truly brave.

In a recent Instagram post from Boxing Media, they asked their followers a similar question. “How much money would it cost for you to spar Gervonta Davis?” And the response from the fans was nothing less than interesting. While some outright said no, scoffing, the question was even asked. Others started a bidding war, with bids that went up as high as ‘$100,000. Hopefully, the Baltimore resident doesn’t take any of them up on the offer. Otherwise, they will have some serious issues in their hand. 

How much did the fans rate a sparring match against Gervonta Davis?

If Davis’ power did not scare anyone off, his counter-punching should. Even if someone lands a punch on ‘Tank,’ a counter-punch from Davis will ensure it doesn’t happen again. But some might say Davis would not take it so seriously.

Perhaps, that’s what this user had in mind, as he commented, “Free, That’s great experience, and it’s not like he going to hard on some amateur boxers.” The user might be right about Davis taking it easy on an amateur, but what if Davis turns out to be highly competitive? Or a punch from the user, landing a bit harder than Tank’s liking? Things can get real – really quickly!

But the next user had an entirely opposite opinion. “Money ain’t worth it when I ain’t coming out there alive,” the user said. The user seems to have massive respect for Davis’ power.

Unlike this user, who had a price chart ready to go. The user stated, “15k if he don’t knock me if he do 7500 a spar match.” Interestingly, he wants to get knocked out by Davis and would charge more if he doesn’t. 

Another user asked, “For how many rounds?” Given Davis fights at such a high level, predicting an 8-12-round sparring session would be fair enough.

The next user was pretty confident about how much he wanted. He simply said, “50K.” No more – no less!

Similarly, this user doubled it by saying, “100K,” the highest bid yet. It’s almost like the user had the number in mind for quite some time. 

Though the question was hypothetical, reactions from fans indicate people are willing to take up the challenge. And if Davis takes them on their offer, these users stand to make quite a chunk of money. Would you dare to step into the ring with Gervonta Davis? How much would you ask for?
