On July 29, Terence Crawford squared off against Errol Spence Jr. in their long-awaited match-up. The stakes were high: the undisputed welterweight crown was on the line and their undefeated record. In the contest, ‘Bud,’ rose to the occasion and stunningly defeated the former champion. Many consider the bout to be one-sided. However, in a recent turn of events, Spence Jr. has reportedly activated the rematch clause. Although their rematch is not made official, Terence Crawford addresses his critics amidst this recent revelation. So let’s not wait further and dive in on what he had to say.

Crawford was crowned as the undisputed welterweight champion over a month ago. In addition, he is the first-ever boxer to be an undisputed champion in two weight classes. However, he continues to be under scrutiny and at times attracts criticism.

In a recent Tweet, he addressed them as, “Haters,” and claimed that these haters criticized them for no sound or reason. He stated, “Haters don’t even know why they hate at times. It becomes so natural to them, they can’t even see or notice it.”

It can be safely inferred that the undisputed welterweight champion is not an individual who lays much importance on his critics or as he calls it, ‘haters.” He has the belief and mental fortitude to not be swayed by them and thinks their comments lack merit. Moreover, this has not been the only instance Crawford has addressed his haters. So let’s take a look at him trolling his haters.

Crawford “loves” his haters

Back in February, he asserted that his haters amuse and entertain him. In addition, ‘Bud,’ claimed that reading his hater’s tweets online is something he does to combat boredom. He stated, “I love my haters so much sometimes I get on here just to see what y’all have to say now because I be bored”

Scrutiny and distinct opinions are only a corollary to the stardom he has achieved in recent years. It also bears a mention that he has a huge fan following who are eagerly waiting for him to make his return to the ring.
