In the ring, legends are born from their battles, records, and their character. Mike Tyson, a powerhouse with a record of 50-6. Floyd Mayweather undefeated at 50-0. Both have left indelible marks on boxing. But what happens when one legend’s social media post stirs the pot?

Imagine Tyson, in a tracksuit, making a silent but bold statement. Without uttering a single word, he reignites a debate. Is it possible for a photo to challenge years of dominance? Mayweather, known as ‘TBE,’ might have something to say about that.

Mike Tyson took to Instagram, subtly stepping into a debate that spans decades. His post? A striking image of himself clad in a black tracksuit, the bold white letters across the jacket’s back spelling out “TYSON” and beneath, “THE BEST EVER.” The caption is simple, yet loaded with meaning: “The jacket says it all.”

In this picture, Tyson stands in a corridor, the vibrant red walls making the message on his back impossible to ignore as he walks away, seemingly towards an exit. This single post, blending simplicity with audacity, quickly captured the attention of the boxing world and beyond.

Swiftly, Tyson’s post became a viral sensation, amassing nearly 230,000 likes. The use of the phrase, unmistakably associated with Mayweather, served as a masterstroke in reigniting a long-standing debate with new fervor.

[Julio Cesar Chavez Sr] was 87-0 before his first loss.

Tyson’s critique underscores a broader narrative, challenging Mayweather’s undefeated 50-0 record by comparing it to past legends who fought more frequently and, in his view, faced a wider range of opponents. “Don’t tell me about, ‘You’re the greatest fighter,’ with 50-0,” Tyson remarked, questioning the depth and diversity of Mayweather’s competition.
