As we count the days to the massive card stacked up for the 23rd of December in the Riyadh season, a new promotional video has dropped. The video features all the boxers that will be fighting that night, and in all its artistic sense, the video is supremely entertaining. Featured are Deontay Wilder and promoter, Frank Warren masked as zombies, a prevalent theme of the video.

After more than a year, Deontay Wilder will enter the ring against Joseph Parker at the Kingdom Arena of Riyadh. The card, billed as ‘Day of Reckoning’ will also see the likes of Anthony Joshua and Otto Wallin. With such massive names on the roster, organizers are sparing no expense in promoting the event. Taking part in these efforts is ace promoter, Warren, whose appearance in the video has heavily been appreciated by fans.

The newly dropped video shows all fighters on the card as zombies navigating through a gory and dark setting. While Wilder’s appearance in the video would not be much of a shocker, Warren being in it has sent waves of excitement among fans. The promoter-fighter duo can be seen riding in a minivan, passing through a burning city, amidst zombies. As the video emerged, fans could not stop but show how impressed they were with Warren.

One called the video the best boxing has ever had. They also suggested the organizers bring Devin Haney and Gervonta Davis for their next fight in 2024.

Another expressed how impressed they were with boxing this year. While most thought the sport had mostly died, in contrast with cards like this, the year has been interesting for it.

The next user was in awe of the card stacked for the night. However, they thought Jarell Miller did not fit on it. The fighter will be going against Daniel Dubois on fight night.

A fan suggested that the promoter and Wilder were the highlights of the video.

Nobody can deny the work Warren has done to get this card rolling. In light of such efforts and dedication he’s shown, a fan called him ‘The Man.’

While all preparations are in full swing for this fight, Warren’s counterpart, Eddie Hearn’s efforts to make the Anthony Joshua vs. Deontay Wilder fight happen has come to fruition. A fight date has emerged.

Should the fight happen on 9th March, it will be coming 3 weeks in the wake of the historic clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, which will see the crowning of a unified heavyweight champion after almost 17 years. The Riyadh season has proven to be the push that the heavyweight class desperately needed after criticisms were levied against it for being stagnant.
