The world of boxing can never get enough of its curve balls. It’s a dramatic world with the most dramatic plot twists that one can expect. Most often, it’s either rivals coming out in support of each other or friends becoming rivals, with supporters joining the other side of the battle. It’s all very intense. Ever since influencers entered the ring, the number of shocks the industry sends to its viewers has only increased. And Jake Paul stands tall in this aspect. No wonder he’s ‘The Problem Child’. Man is always getting into some sort of trouble.
Jake Paul is all set to clash with Nate Diaz on August 5. The fight comes in the wake of Paul facing his first defeat at the hands of Tommy Fury in February of this year. As the influencer-turned-boxer gears himself for his revival in the boxing scene, he has met with some unsettling news. His ex-trainer has shifted camps and is associated with someone that Jake Paul would mostly not approve of.

Ahead of his fight with Nate Diaz, Jake Paul has been training hard to win over Diaz. His current trainer, Shane Mosley, has got his back and is an accomplice in his preparations for the big fight. However, his ex-trainer, BJ Flores, has joined KSI’s MisFits as a Small Council member.
I love the sport of boxing there is a lot of up-coming talent.
I am looking forward to being part of the council to determine an unbias set of rankings, important decisions/exciting potential matchups.
Ensuring the safety/protection of these young boxers is my main objective.— Benjamin Flores (@bjfloresboxing) July 20, 2023
Through the partnership with Flores, Jake Paul had managed to secure a 6-0 unbeaten record. In his Tweet, the trainer further explained that he wants to drive a bigger moment in boxing. He wants to concentrate on ensuring the safety and protection of up-and-coming boxers. The news has gotten fans talking. And most seem to be prepared for such developments. While some expressed their disappointment.
Jaunius.k highlights the stark contrast between Jake Paul and KSI. The two are considered polar opposites when it comes to boxing. And the shift of Flores from Jake Paul to KSI further signifies something.

However, Wayne was not surprised at all. KSI’s MisFits has been rising through the cracks and securing a huge array of clients. BJ’s shift only makes sense if seen from this perspective.

Nathan Armstrong thinks that MisFits has hired the right person for the job. The former fighter also has an impressive record of 34-4-1 in pro bouts. However, after his retirement, he joined Jake as a sparring partner before emerging as a head trainer in 2021.
Misfits picked the best people for the job 🤝

Jay Salazar finds it amusing that all three coaches in the poster are looking ahead while Leon Williams is looking to the side. NJ Flores is also joined by Leon, True Geordie, and Round House Radio.
I find it funny how all 3 of them are looking forward and Leon is the only guy looking the opposite direction lol
