Adrien Broner is ready to make a comeback to the ring! At least Broner thinks he is, evident from a training clip – shared on YouTube today. The Cincinnati native last entered the ring in June last year against Bill Hutchinson, winning the fight via unanimous decision. However, his attempts to make a solid comeback haven’t panned out the way he wanted.

After losing the fight against Manny Pacquiao in 2019, he has just fought twice against relatively unknown boxers. Nevertheless, in recent times, once touted as the next Floyd Mayweather, Broner is trying to secure a fight against Devin Haney or Ryan Garcia, but to no avail. Despite that, Broner didn’t fail to show up in the gym, keeping his training going!

A handful of hours ago, Fight Hub TV shared a clip of Broner busy in the gym training for presumably his next fight. The clip was titled, “Adrien Broner HEAVY lifting in the GYM; READY for RETURN fight!” However, details about his opponent are still unknown. Notably, on January 18, ‘The Problem’ turned to his Instagram account to call out Bill Haney for a fight against his son.

“If you wanna get your son [Devin Haney] f**ked up, send the contract. I ain’t never ran from no man in boxing, why would I run from your son,” wrote Broner, comparing boxing records with Haney. Older Haney quickly responded, “Don’t worry about it, AB. We gon’ take it over from here. It’s the Devin Haney era.” Despite that, Broner is ready for a fight, so when people found his training clip today, the response was mixed, to say the least.

Fans can’t settle on Broner’s fate

As the video spent some time under the digital sun, some fans motivated the former world champion, while others urged him to hang up the gloves. One user stooped down to mocking the 34-year-old former boxing sensation. “I never seen a boxer get in shape just to walk away again,” the user wrote. In Broner’s defense, he fought Hutchinson and suffered an injury to his wrist, prolonging his next appearance.

Another user motivated ‘The Problem,’ claiming he could do it! The user wrote, “I love a comeback story! You can do it, Adrien!” Also, Broner’s attitude suggests he is ready for anything!

Meanwhile, someone else suggested Broner should come to terms with the situation. “It’s over, my boy,” the user commented. Notably, many fighters have competed till age 40, so it might not be quite over for Broner.

Similarly, even the next user suggested Broner should hang up the gloves. “Retire son, do some media work,” the user’s comment read.

One user seemed positive about Broner’s return, claiming Broner would teach Haney a boxing lesson. “Getting ready to give Haney a boxing lesson. AB = About Boxing,” the user wrote. But by the looks of things, that fight doesn’t seem possible.
