Oh, how the tables have turned? At the onset of the whole influencer boxing scene, it was Logan Paul who dominated the headlines. From his fight against now business partner and friend KSI to his fight against legendary Floyd Mayweather, Logan Paul was the man. However, his brother Jake Paul is now the undisputed king of influencer boxing. And it might not be sitting well with Logan, who claimed a fight against Mike Tyson was offered to him first.

Jake Paul is about to take on Mike Tyson in the biggest fight of his career on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, US. So, while appearing in the latest episode of Impaulsive, the older Paul brother suggested he was offered a fight against Mike Tyson first while revealing why he had to decline the offer.

Speaking to KSI during the podcast, Logan brought up Jake’s fight against Mike Tyson, claiming, “For both Mike and Jake, the bag.” However, soon afterward, the WWE star claimed that he declined to fight Mike when he was offered the fight. “I said no to fighting Mike Tyson,” said Logan. As to why he declined it, Logan claims it was about money.

“I was offered, but not on Netflix. And not for a big a** bag. It was just like – it could be a real fight,” said Logan.

Jake Paul refutes Logan’s claim

After Logan’s podcast went live today on YouTube, Jake appeared in a live stream with Adin Ross on KICK. When Ross showed Logan’s clip to Jake during the stream, Paul claimed that couldn’t have happened. “No. ‘Cause we’re the ones that brought the deal to Mike Tyson. I don’t know why he would say that,” said Jake.

Jake emphasized that he and his business partner were the driving forces behind making the Netflix deal a reality. “Me, and Most Valuable Promotions, and my partner Nakisa [Bidarian] struck a deal with Netflix and then went to other fighters to try to get them involved…We went to Mike Tyson. And after months of talking, got him to be down to fight,” said Paul.
