Over the years, Floyd Mayweather has fascinated his fans with his accuracy and fluidity. In addition to the fight IQ that he would display inside the ring, it was always a pleasure seeing him prepare for his upcoming fights inside the gym. Apart from his work with the heavy bag, Mayweather and his late uncle Roger Mayweather would effortlessly dazzle the audience with their seamless pad work.
But today, besides being 45, it has been six years since Mayweather stopped competing on the professional level. However, the former unified welterweight champion still continues to charm his fans with his fluid movements and envious skills with the mitts. Likewise, after an old video of Mayweather training with his current coach Gerald Tucker recently went viral on the net, fans could not but marvel at Floyd’s movement and skills.

“Brilliant” understanding between Floyd Mayweather and Gerald Tucker leads fans to think of “an oiled machine”
In the video, standing in close proximity, Floyd Mayweather is seen throwing countless punches to the mitts held by Gerald Tucker. Although the duo doesn’t move much in terms of cutting angles or ducking blows, Mayweather left the fans impressed with his speed and accuracy. Certainly, with his pad work, ‘TBE’ declares the fact that he’s been boxing since he was a little kid. After a boxing-related account posted the brief clip on X, here’s how several people reacted to it:
According to one fan, one has to be equally sharp and accurate to “hold pads for Mayweather“. “Amazing!” they exclaimed.
How good do you have to be to hold pads for Mayweather as well?! Amazing!

Although one thought the pad work was “choreographed,” they admitted that Mayweather and Tucker displayed “brilliant movement“.
