Eubank Jr. not only lauded KSI’s surprising performance but also emphasized the need for a rematch between the two fighters. Expressing his opinion on the bout, Eubank Jr. straightforwardly stated, “I thought JJ won, that’s all that I can say.” He commended KSI for his commendable efforts inside the ring.
When asked if KSI’s performance had surprised him, Eubank Jr. didn’t hold back. He acknowledged the shock factor, saying, “Listen, I think he surprised everybody because, as a guy who has only been boxing for four years, to step into the ring and compete against an opponent who has dedicated his entire life to the sport is nothing short of impressive.”
Eubank Jr. firmly believes that the fight warrants a rematch, primarily because the outcome remains inconclusive, with many questioning the verdict. However, when the two combatants finally locked horns, the outcome unfolded as many had expected.
