Boxing reporter Michael Benson took to X to report the News. He wrote, “Lennox Lewis – boxing’s last undisputed heavyweight world champion – will be a “guest of honour” at Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk,” sparking widespread appreciation of the decision by the audience. Reportedly, this decision was taken by WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman himself. One of Lewis’ tasks will be to “represent the WBC in crowning the new undisputed champion.”

When Lewis fought legendary Evander Holyfield for the second time, he secured his undisputed title in 1999 unifying the WBC, WBA, IBO, and IBF titles.. Their first fight had ended in a controversial draw. Both Fury and Usyk have the chance to do the same if hopefully, their fight does not end in a draw. Fury’s heavyweight peer, WBO Interim champion Zhilei Zhang revealed the only way Fury can beat Usyk according to him.
