Laila Ali has been cooking since she was only nine years old. While Ali loves to cook given the activity allows her to be creative, boxing has taught her the importance of eating healthy food, prepared at home. As a result, in January 2018, Laila Ali, the former unified Super-Middleweight champion, also published her book titled Food for Life. On that note, Ali often takes to social media and enlightens her fans about eating healthy.

Today, after Jasyra Santiago Hines, an educator on children’s health and wellness, offered a list of snacks harmful to children’s wellbeing, Ali reiterated Hines and the importance of nutritious food in life. In this context, the 46-year-old and mother of two spoke directly to all the responsible parents. Well, here is the message that Ali and Hines shared with the world.

On Instagram Jasyra Hines shared a list of foods she claimed made children hyper and sick. Since Hines understood that food plays an important role in determining one’s health and behavior, she advised the parents to be careful about what they feed their children. Although Hines admitted that the list of snacks she shared greatly appealed to the kids, she informed the world that the consumption of the same resulted in ADHD as they contained HFCS, dyes, BHT, and inflammatory oils.

Sharing the list of snacks acting on health, Hines wrote, “If you eliminate these on their diet especially dyes like Red40, I bet that their behaviour will change drastically.” In another photo, Hines shared “better alternatives“. However, Hines was of the opinion that “The best snacks are the ones you make with love at home.” Here, Laila Ali, who voted for the inclusion of avocado in one’s diet, is in agreement with Hines. Therefore, taking to Instagram, in one of her stories, she wrote, “Parents, know better, do better.”
