Mike Tyson had a gala day with Nick Cannon on the latest episode of Hotboxin’. Among other topics, in the said episode, Tyson and Cannon opened up about their pasts in Washington DC. While Nick Cannon went to DC to study at Howard University, Tyson visited DC at the request of a friend. Although the former heavyweight champion of the world initially thought he had no business in DC, once he arrived there, something quite unexpected happened.
With Mike Tyson and DJ Whoo Kid as his audience, Nick Cannon spoke about his career as a young comic in Hollywood. In this context, he spoke about attending a college in Atlanta. After a couple of months, he dropped out and went to Howard University in Washington DC. As Cannon touched upon DC, Tyson shared his past with the place.

On being asked about his college life in Atlanta, Cannon declared that he was there for only a couple of months. However, he later went to Howard University to get a degree. “It made me go back to Howard University to get my degree,” Cannon said. At this point, Tyson asked Cannon if Howard University was “awesome” back then. “It still is,” Cannon replied before Tyson revealed that he “used to hustle with a guy in the ’80s” who invited him to DC.

Mike Tyson went on to narrate his tale. Speaking about the “guy” he mentioned, Tyson declared that he did not want to visit DC because he feared the place was filled with white people. “I didn’t know. On television, you see the f***ing politicians,” Tyson explained. However, as he went to DC and stayed there, he married somebody. “Once I went there and stayed there, I married somebody,” Tyson said. At this, laughingly, Cannon added, “Mike is like me; he just pulls up in a city and marries somebody.” Following Cannon’s remark, the three of them burst out laughing.
