The tentacles of the Mike Tyson and Jake Paul fight seem to be reaching faraway corners of the boxing world. It’s still four months away; however, at every forum and talk, the upcoming bout is taken up for discussion. So much so, as his girlfriend’s Instagram post shows, even the personal space appears vulnerable to off-the-wall reactions and trolls.
Earlier today, Jutta Leerdam shared a series of snapshots showing her and Jake Paul in a passionate embrace. They are standing in front of a Gulfstream jetliner. Showering her love on ‘The Problem Child,’ the world speed skating champion simply wrote his name, “Jake Paul,” aside from a love emoticon. As the hours passed, a multitude of responses started flooding the comments section. Needless to say, most of the users took up the upcoming Tyson-Paul fight to roast the couple, especially Paul.

Envisioning that Jake Paul would suffer a loss at the hands of ‘Iron’ Mike, this user suggested that Jutta Leerdam should get ready to wipe his tears. “Good luck drying his tears after 20 July,” the user said. Taking up the infamous ‘Bite Fight’ where Tyson chewed off a piece of Evander Holyfield’s ear, this follower posited that a similar fate might await Paul. They said, “He asks, “Will you still love me with one ear?”
According to the next user, Jake Paul’s appearance will change after he enters the ring to fight Mike Tyson: “He will be looking a bit different after he gets in the ring with Tyson.” Echoing almost similar sentiments, this follower alerted Jutta Leerdam to have fun as long as it lasts. Eventually, after Tyson’s beating, her boyfriend would be fed liquid food through straw. “Just enjoy it, Jutta. Later, he’ll eat with a straw,” the follower said.

The following user seemed doubtful whether Jake Paul would be able to match Mike Tyson until and unless he got the match fixed. They said, “Do you guys really think hell go toe to toe with Mike Tyson without fixing the fight?”
The match has been facing criticism for the thirty-year age gap between Tyson and Paul. More so, there’s a sharp difference in terms of ring activeness.
‘The Problem Child’, who made his pro-boxing debut four years ago, has been very functional in terms of fights. His last three fights happened in a span of seven months. On the other hand, following his retirement from active boxing in 2005, ‘Iron’ Mike fought a non-scoring exhibition match. The next one came fourteen years later. In July, as he enters the ring, the fight against Roy Jones Jr. will be over three years old.
