Jake Paul defeated Nate Diaz in their anticipated showdown on 5 August. Their bout was entertaining, competitive and had many fans on the edge of their seats. There were moments in the eighth round wherein Diaz was putting pressure on Paul and had him hurt. However, the YouTuber-turned-boxer weathered the storm and secured himself a unanimous decision victory. Moreover, it appears that the two combat sports stars will meet again in an MMA contest.

In the post-fight interview, the 26-year-old revealed that he is keen on facing Diaz again but in the octagon. Moreover, for now, Paul is enjoying the fruits of his hard work. In addition to being a boxer and a celebrity, the ‘Problem Child,’ is the CEO of, ‘Most Valuable Promotions.’ The boxing promotion was founded in the year 2021 by his manager, Nakisa Bidarian. The promotion has signed one of the greatest female boxers, Amanda Serrano. Intriguingly, Serrano fought in the co-main event against Heather Hardy and won via a unanimous decision. In addition, their gate revenue broke many records.

It would be safe to say that it was not only a great night for Paul but also for his promotion and team. Not to mention, after his last defeat, Paul made many amends in his team and was grateful to them for playing a big part in his victory. Reflecting on the same, on Twitter, he stated, “Shout out to my MVP team in the ring and out of the ring. What we do is on another level and I’m going to continue to do everything I can to grow professional boxing, elevate women within the sport and shine a light on future stars.”

Despite Paul being a polarizing figure, it would be hard to deny that he has made a name for himself in the sport. After his most recent victory, the younger Paul brother has multiple opponents for him. From

Post his defeat, Diaz expressed his interest to face Paul again either in a boxing match or a MMA bout to avenge his defeat. As per, MMA Mania, he stated, “I just lost, I would like to rematch him in this to beat him in this,” he adds, “But if not, I would do [MMA]. Whatever I got to do to get a rematch.” 

A bout between the two in an MMA contest would be a spectacle to witness. And it would be fair to say that in this contest, Diaz would be the favorite to clinch the winner.
