‘The Blonde Bomber’ is one tough woman. The Australian champion dons many hats. A professional boxer who taught mathematics at school and now models for OnlyFans, Ebanie Bridges, started her boxing career barely three years ago. Nevertheless, now she stands proud as the IBF Bantamweight title holder. Active on social media, she boasts nearly 400k followers on Twitter. Not a person known to mince her words, Bridges incidentally touched upon the sensitive issues of trans athletes last week.
On Saturday, she tagged Boxing Kingdom‘s tweet on the House Rules Committee debating the ‘Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, 2023.’ Ebanie Bridges said that she doesn’t have anything against transgender people. However, the truth remains that a ‘natural born woman’ and a ‘trans woman’ cannot be equated as the same. She said, “I have nothing against transgender at all, be what makes you happy, BUT the REALITY IS a natural born woman, and a trans woman ARE NOT THE SAME.”

She referred to the discussion between Representatives Ralph Norman and Mark Takano. Mr. Norman, over the course of the debate, asked Mr. Takano whether he was aware of Mike Tyson‘s name. So when the Democratic Party representative confirmed that he knew, Mr. Norman questioned, “If he identifies as a female, should he be allowed to enter a boxing match with a biological female?” Mr. Takano responded, “Well, the short answer is yes…“

So Ebanie Bridges concurring with the Republican representative, said that his point of the argument stands correct in its place. She continued, “Trans shouldn’t be “included” in sport, so give them their divisions. I Will never agree to male-born trans women competing In combat sports against women… and if I get hated on for my opinion, idc cos it’s my life at risk.”
Ebanie Bridges recently grabbed headlines when a photograph of her with Conor Mcgregor went viral. The two met at the ringside of the Katie Taylor and Chantelle Cameron match last month. However, playing it down, joking that the UFC legend ‘manhandled’ her, Bridges reportedly suggested McGregor join OnlyFans.
