Ryan Garcia has changed his training camp ever since he recorded his maiden defeat against Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis. He previously trained with Joe Goossen but now the rising boxing personality has switched his training base to Texas-based Derrick James. It is in the wake of his defeat that ‘KingRy’ has taken such drastic steps. While he was training with Goossen, he won 2 out of 3 professional fights that he undertook.

As he recovers from his loss against Tank and prepares for his next fight, he has left no stone unturned to improve his game in the ring. His time with James is not going to be an ordinary one, as he also holds the privilege of training alongside an array of legendary boxers. Derrick James is a veteran of boxing circles.
