Terence Crawford is the new undisputed welterweight champion of the world. The Ohama born locked horns with Errol Spence Jr for glory. And he proved his haters wrong after he stopped the former unified champion in the ninth round. Everyone in the boxing world had their pick for this fight. And even though many were expecting it to be a 50-50 battle. Crawford made it clear that he was in the ring for war. With his name etched in history books, and is the first male boxer to be the two-time undisputed champion in two different weight divisions. Crawford has proved why he is a deserving pound-for-pound professional boxer. And following his win, boxing icons have come forward to speak up about the sensational fight.
From Manny Pacquiao revealing his thoughts on the fight. To Crawford’s gym-mate Shakur Stevenson winning his $25,000 bet on the fight. This fight is special as many in the boxing world were involved in this fight with their diving predictions. And that has continued as the icons are opening up on Crawford’s masterclass. And Spence Jr lost his first ever fight to one of the best in the business.

In the aftermath of the fight, Heavyweight Deontay Wilder gave an interview and talked about his thoughts on the fight. Wilder said, “Errol Spence was a little drained tonight, and he didn’t do what he needed to do. Bud definitely took advantage of that. He made it look easy. “ Further, he talked about the bright side of such sensational boxing fights. He added, “That’s how it is. It’s winners and losers in the fight. But, at the end of the fight, we all want to see a great fight. “ The former heavyweight champion also opened up about Crawford’s greatness. And admitted that this fight makes Crawford makes one of the best. Wilder said,“Tonight he proved that he’s the best of all. ”
Adding to the reactions to the fight. ‘Golden Boy,’ Oscar De La Hoya, whose absence from the venue was not enough to hamper his excitement for this fight. He shared a video on his social media. While watching the post-fight interviews. La Hoya said, “That’s why he’s the best pound for pound the best fighter on the planet and the ring magazine champion.”
Former world champion Leo Santa Cruz also opened up about the fight. And, even though he was supporting Errol Spence Jr’s corner. He did admit Crawford’s versatility and what he was able to do in the fight. However, it should be noted that the interview did try to get an interview from Adrien Broner. But, ‘The Problem’ was not in the mood for the same.
Shakur Stevenson went big in his gesture to support ‘Bud.’He bet $25,000 with his friend and rapper, Yella Beezy. And, it seems like now the Dallas-raised rapper owes money to the two-division world champion. It should be noted that Stevenson is Crawford’s gym partner.
Eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao was also in attendance for the fight. The interviewers were able to get a hand of the boxing icon. And, even though he was not descriptive with his answers. They were enough for the fans. Pacquiao admitted that he does not need a match between the two. And when asked if Crawford is pound for pound number one, he nodded with a yes.

Reigning undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney took to his Twitter to open up a suggestion for this fight. And it seems like he would like to see a rerun of this fight. But, this time, at 154 lbs. He claimed that Spence Jr was too “drained” for the fight.

Amid all the reactions to the fight, Reingin super-middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez showed his appreciation for Crawford. And took to his Twitter to congratulate him on his sensational performance against one of the toughest opponents ever.
