Even at 57, it’s safe to say that most people won’t want to catch Mike Tyson on a bad day! Something that became abundantly clear in a training clip shared on social media today. The former ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ might have left boxing for good, but boxing isn’t done with him. So, when the boxing people found the clip, they were left awe-struck.

It’s no secret that Tyson was among the most, if not the only, scariest fighters to step in the ring with. However, most would think age might have dulled his senses and taken away his one-shot knockout power! And for them, this clip should come as a stark reminder that once a monster, always a monster!

Turning to Instagram, the owner of Kings MMA gym and an MMA trainer, Rafael Cordeiro, shared the clip in question with a caption that read, “Another day at the office! Thank you for everything, my Brother! [Mike Tyson]” In the clip, ‘Iron’ Mike can be seen with Cordeiro, working the mitts.

However, the Tyson most might have seen lately in interviews or podcasts wasn’t the Mike in the ring with Cordeiro. Mike, who was inside training in the ring, was ferocious, fast, and agile. One single blow from this guy could leave one feeling loopy for weeks. And people in the comment section felt the same way!

Fan claims Tyson’s moves are more like a boxing prospect

Mike Tyson has a vast following online, so anything and everything he does instantly catches public attention. Lo and behold, this one did, too – seeing Tyson make the MMA coach earn his money, people had a lot to say! One user sarcastically suggested that Tyson looked like a young boxing prospect. The user wrote, “That young man looks like he has potential.” When a young Mike Tyson approached Cus D’Amato in Cat Skills, he might have felt the same way!

Someone else praised Cordeiro, claiming it’s never easy dealing with Tyson’s power! “What a pressure! Being a monster trainer isn’t for everyone,” the user commented.

Another user cautioned that training with Mike Tyson without headgear can be dangerous. “You definitely need to wear a headgear when working the mitts with Mike…,” wrote the user.

The next user compared Tyson’s moves in the training clip with the oncoming traffic on a highway. The user wrote, “It’s Like dodging traffic in the ring.” One wrong move, and it’s night-night.

Someone enquired whether Cordeiro has his insurance up to date because a blow from Tyson may cause the trainer to visit the hospital. The user wrote, “Is the insurance up to date, master?”
