In one of the episodes of All Access, he was quite sure about his preparation against Spence. He stated that the sweat, blood, and tears he spends in the gym prohibit him from thinking about the potential loss. He uttered, “I train too hard to think about losing.” Well, later, he backpedaled on his own statements.

It’s very similar to Mike Tyson‘s idealogy about fear—how he’s always afraid of losing during training. It, in turn, motivates him to train harder and harder. Over time, the closer the time gets to the fight night, his fear starts disappearing gradually. And the moment he is on the canvas, he becomes invincible. Similarly, Crawford said, “Do it cross my mind? Yeah, it always cross my mind. What if? But my mind is so strong that it keeps those negative thoughts out.

Crawford is actually giving his all to retain his flawless record of 39-0; he even vowed to “do what’s necessary” against Spence. The 3-division champion and the current unified Welterweight champion have been trying to get this fight for almost five years now. And the fans will finally get to witness it at the end of this month. In addition to Crawford, his trainer too is pretty confident about his pugilist’s preparation.
