Will Ryan Garcia turn up against Devin Haney? That’s the question that fans and Haney himself have tried to guess ever since ‘KingRy’ went down the shenanigans and antics route. Amid the growing concerns for his mental health, Garcia has finally cleared the air.
Garcia, 25, has pushed back on the trolling and churned out concerning social media posts in the last few weeks, prompting concerns for his mental health. From overtly sharing his private life to puffing a mar*juana joint to a Satan reference, he has done it all. Things took an alarming turn when he uploaded a video with a message that read, “RYAN GARCIA RIP B*TCH.” But it appears all the distraction was merely a goof up.

The American boxer’s recent social media theatrics have seized eyeballs. Many have wondered whether he was pulling a stunt or needed help. Some, including Dillon Danis, extended their hands to help out Garcia. Previously, Garcia had spent some months away from boxing in 2021 to cater to his mental health.
However, the Haneys are not pleased with Garcia’s bizarre social media posts. As a result, Devin Haney threatened to not show up at their LA press conference. ‘The Dream’ has also suggested not paying attention to his social media posts. “Stop paying attention to his trolling. This dude is trying to rock everybody to sleep!” Haney wrote on his X handle. But it was Garcia’s ex-wife, Drea Celina, who raised the alarm about Garcia’s deteriorating mental health.

“He may seem fine, but he is not. I know in my heart that he is being heavily oppressed… I am genuinely concerned, and so are all his family members. We are not part of any of this, but this is real. Pray for him,” Celina wrote on her social media handle.
Meanwhile, Bernard Hopkins believes Garcia’s actions are a ploy to get into Haney’s head, who is the favorite going into their fight. Garcia and Haney go a long way back, and Garcia could be trying to mess up Haney’s head. But it remains to be seen how effective Garcia’s strategy would be if it were one.
