“We got to wait for Errol Spence and ‘Bud’ to fight and you know. I want the winner of that fight. Spence-Crawford is a great fight, a 50-50 fight, may the best man win. And Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis wants the winner of Errol Spence and Terence Crawford. Let’s make it happen.” he said

By calling out the winner, Ennis is displaying his confidence and belief in his own abilities to compete at the highest level. However, while he patiently awaits the Spence-Crawford winner, he also remains open to facing other top welterweights in the division. This was made clear after ‘Boots’ came out and challenge other top welterweights in the division.
