Infamously Trolled for Being a Father of 12, Nick Cannon Gets a Green Light for His “Kingdom” From Mike Tyson

Mike Tyson recently had Nick Cannon over for the recent episode of Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson podcast. So, in the episode, both individuals covered a wide array of topics and spoke about every minuscule thing related to their life. Inherently, Cannon being a father of 12 kids was also taken under discussion. Cannon has faced a little backlash on the internet about his fatherhood, and many have even labelled him irresponsible for having so many children. But Tyson had a different perspective about the whole situation.

Amongst all the topics, Cannon also revealed a secret about his crush on Jamie Foxx‘s sister and spoke about the first deal he secured with Will Smith. Mike Tyson is himself a father of 7 kids, so although it’s 5 less than Cannon, he understands fatherhood. ‘Kid Dynamite’ supported his actions. This made Cannon reveal his reasons for having so many children, and he doesn’t regret his decision at all.

Mike Tyson seconds Nick Cannon’s choice 

The conversation began when the co-host, DJ Whoo Kid, started talking about how some things need to be avoided if one wishes to become successful. Mike instantly interrupted and stated that it was not true. He further added, “[Nick Cannon] can have as many kids as he wants as long as he’s taking care of them.” Cannon agrees with Tyson but simultaneously also adds that nobody gets a license to have kids just because they can afford them financially.

Mike Tyson resonated with this thought and stated that spending time with children is way more important than money in parenthood. Cannon also stated that his kids will always have access to top-tier schools and hospitals. Besides that, they’ll also have the benefit of his connections. He said, “If they want to be a boxer, my son Moroccan could come hang out with Mike Tyson.”

Then he went on to reveal his reason for having so many kids. He just said, “It’s all about building your kingdom but some people not gonna understand it.” Now, by 2021, Cannon had four kids, but then in January 2022, he had his eighth child with Bre Tiesi. Then in September 2022, he announced two more kids, one with LaNisha Cole and the other with Brittany Bell. He went on to have a total of 12 kids in the next few months.
