This comes after Errol Spence Jr. invoked his rematch clause against Bud after the former lost his unification bout in the welterweight division. While Canelo has said that going down the weight to see Bud would be detrimental to his career and body. Supporting Bud in this crusade is a recently emerging critique of the Mexican fighter.
Showing his support for Bud, Toney said, “It would be huge. If that fight happens, I would go back into camp with Crawford and show him how to do it for real.”
