Turki Alalshikh has brought many worlds together through the events held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Be it celebrities from the entertainment world or athletes from various sports – everyone comes together to delight in witnessing these mega-events. Yet, after a snap of Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou with the top 20 celebrities in the world came to light today, it solicited unforeseen responses from people.
Of course, ‘The Battle of the Baddest’ boxing event with Fury and Ngannou kickstarted the Saudi’s boxing endeavors. However, before the next boxing event can commence on February 17 between Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, Boxing Kingdom turned to X, sharing the picture from the 20 January 2024 Joy Awards held in Riyadh.

Top 20 biggest celebrities – who?
Turki Alalshikh had invited all the personalities in the image to attend the award ceremony, which was taken after the ceremony concluded. It featured the likes of John Cena, Mark Wahlberg, Martin Lawrence, Anthony Hopkins, Zack Snyder, Anthony Anderson, and many others besides Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury.

The 2024 ceremony followed the success of 2022’s iteration of the same and saw 20 celebrities handed awards for their recent work. However, after Boxing Kingdom shared the image on X with the caption, “Lineal Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury with the top 20 biggest celebrities in the world,” it raised a lot of questions in the boxing world.
Despite Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury in attendance, fans mark absence of others
Despite all the heavy hitters present in the picture, fans disagreed with them being the biggest celebrities, mocking and poking fun at the post. One user targeted Ngannou, claiming his presence in the image was “funny.” It’s worth mentioning that though Ngannou isn’t as popular with the wider public, he is a sensation in the combat world.

One user speculated how much these celebrities are being paid to attend the event, highlighting Leonardo DiCaprio charges $250,000 for appearances.
