On the 28th of October, Tyson Fury enters the ring after what seems like a long sabbatical from the sport. The Saudi fight against UFC fame, Francis Ngannou comes at a time when he’s been heavily criticized for not having fought a fighter of the same stature, Oleksandr Usyk. The fight will take its course under all of the championship rules. However, his WBC Heavyweight title will not be on the line.
That has not stopped him from training his absolute best for the fight. So much so that he has prioritized his training camp over spending time with his newborn child, Prince Rico Paris Fury. On the 18th of September, the fighter and his wife, Paris announced that their 7th child was born. With a big fight in his way, Fury has hardly had any time to spend with the new one, or so he says.

Ahead of his matchup against the Cameroonian fighter, ‘Gypsy King’ elaborated on how busy his training for the fight has kept him. So much so that he’s hardly got any time to spend with his now, six-weeks-old baby boy. In a conversation with Boxing Social, the Heavyweight champion said, “I don’t even know how old he is. I think he’s got to be about six weeks old I’ve only seen him four times in the the six weeks. And it’s not a time to be all iby duby with a new member of the family.”
The fighter has already moved to Saudi in preparation for his fight. He said, “So, that’s why I moved it. I’m over here all alone”. When match night elapses, he will go back home to his wife and seven kids. They have been compared to a ‘football’ team for the sheer size of this battalion. With three daughters and four sons, the Fury family is one who have always been open about their familial bond.
Fury’s Plan for Fight Night
Before he gets back to his family awaiting the news of his victory, Tyson Fury has a challenge that he will need to overcome in all his world champion glory. For he is one of the best boxers in the world today going against someone who’s never entered the ring before. And a loss against Ngannou will be extremely detrimental to his boxing career.
Speaking about the fashion in which he hopes to end fight night, the fighter said, “I’m going to knock him out inside six rounds.” In a conversation with TNT Sports Face Off, he said, “And shall I tell you how I’m going to do it? Get on the front foot, high arm, sticking him with a punishing jab, 19-20 stone in the face, boom, boom, boom, bust him up, swell his eyes out, and then feint, slip, bang! KO”
