However, Stevenson realizes that one day she will understand why he had to struggle for achievement. Thus, he curtails his emotions and marches for battle.

As his tweet said,  “Gone miss my daughter like crazy hopefully she understand one day about the work I had to put in for us I got u 4L baby girl it’s work time now.” This tweet pulls heartstrings and highlights the emotional toll of an athlete’s career. However, as ‘Sugar’ mentioned it’s show time now, so he has to be prepared.

Shakur Stevenson and Edwin De Los Santos will fight on November 16, 2023, in Las Vegas. They aim for the vacant WBC lightweight title. Stevenson holds a 20-0 record with 10 knockouts. De Los Santos has a 16-1 record with 14 knockouts.

Moreover, Stevenson has also set his sights on Gervonta Davis as his next opponent. However, he’s not ready to make an offer to Davis. This is because he wants ‘Tank’ to make an offer to him. Davis has previously steered clear of defensive opponents such as Stevenson. Stevenson acknowledges that he doesn’t attract pay-per-view audiences like Davis does. If a match with Davis doesn’t materialize, Stevenson wants to transition to the 140-pound category, similar to Devin Haney.
