Logan Paul and Dillon Danis are prepared to square off against each other on October 14, 2023. The hype for this matchup is on a different level, the unique trash-talking of Danis that even got him up to one million followers on the X app. Danis found a way to get under the skin of his opponent, as he dug up the past relationships of Paul’s fiancée Nina Agdal. Not that long ago, Logan Paul asked the Danish model to be her wife, so Danis wanted to make the fight personal and started a feud against Paul through his fiancée.

This fight will more or less serve as the co-main event for the KSI vs. Tommy Fury fight. Still, many people are more interested in the fight between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis. Mainly because of the Danis’s social media shenanigans for the fight, but do you think he’ll get any credit for the promotion of the bout? The UFC veteran, Chael Sonnen, has given his two cents on this topic.

Chael Sonnen is astonished by the magnitude of anticipation that the fans have for the fight between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis. He stated in his recent YouTube upload, that he’s seeing this for the first time, and that the people are excited for a fight where they don’t care about “who’s orthodox and who’s a southpaw. Who’s been training, how many miles is this guy running.” Instead, it’s all for the show.

In the video, he took up the hard question, of whether Danis would get the credit for the increased data of the PPV numbers due to his methods. Or, would every credit will be handed over to KSI and Tommy Fury? To this, he said, “Whoever the main event is probably going to reap all the rewards and not feel that they have any kind of obligation to thank Dillon or pitch in on all the stuff that he’s going through or bend the ear of Logan Paul and say, ‘Hey don’t do that lawsuit business.’” Even Andrew Tate shares the same thought process as Sonnen.

Furthermore, Sonnen added, “Like they probably just thank the crowd and the numbers that this business does have to do with them. Fighters are delusional, they’re also notoriously bad people.” So, if Danis loses, he may get some backlash, but there’s a very low chance anybody will acknowledge his contribution to the number of audience increased. Even though, Logan Paul himself agreed that it’s great marketing, whatever his opponent is doing.

Paul admits to the profit Dillon Danis brought to the event

Recently, Logan Paul appeared on the famous comedian Andrew Schulz‘s podcast, Flagrant, where he talked about his reason behind choosing Dillon Danis as his opponent. Interestingly the reason wasn’t something personal at first, it was because of the financial profit Paul saw in the abilities of Dillon Danis as an internet troll.

Paul said, “I had no idea but I mean we got people interested. At the end of the day, it’s all fight promo.
