Ryan Garcia has his fans’ approval to break ties with Golden Boy Promotions. The boxer has been the center of attention for quite some time in recent days.  The 25-year-old is engaged in an ongoing legal dispute with his own promotion preceding his fight.

‘KingRy’ is scheduled to fight Oscar ‘La Migrana’ Duarte in December in Houston, Texas. The fight has been brewing for a while and things are getting heated up as Garcia took a dig at his promoter yet again in the press conference for his upcoming fight. De La Hoya, Garcia’s promoter, went on to Twitter to show his concern for Garcia following his rant on how his promotion won’t let him go. Meanwhile, the fans took to Instagram, under De La Hoya’s recent post, to express their opinions.

De La Hoya posted a picture of Ryan Garcia and Oscar Duarte at the pre-match press conference on Instagram and captioned it, “Someone’s getting knocked out in 48 hours.” Excited fans from all over the world, swarmed in to make their picks for the fight and discuss the ongoing feud between Garcia and his promotion.

One fan showed his belief in Duarte saying, “My boy Duarte is going to KO García… we all know Garcia is vulnerable on the body and face”.

Another fan remarked, “I ain’t wasting my time with this kid anymore. He’s an absolute disgrace after tank Davis, the way he quit” owing to Garcia taking a knee which culminated in his loss against Gervonta Davis.

 Meanwhile, a fan showed their support for Garcia, asking “Why people still with golden boy promotions”.

Another fan backed Garcia in his beef with Golden Boy Promotions, stating, “Garcia wants out of Golden Boy. Good for him he’ll probably thrive without Oscar”. Another fan commented, “Let him go Oscar. He clearly does not want to be under your promotion anymore.”.

Garcia’s need for redemption

The way things have been moving for Garcia, it is clear that he is the man who brings PPVs to the bout. His loss against ‘Tank’ Davis came as a big shock to him and his fans. The upcoming fight holds great importance for him as it’s his chance to prove himself again. He needs a statement win now more than ever. Both the fighters are backed by Golden Boy promotions and the winner will undoubtedly show their worth to the boxing fans.
