Eddie Hearn: Boxing’s Fortune Teller
Dana White recently divulged his thoughts on these rumors to reporters, saying, “That’s unfortunate.” He proceeded to include a blunt expletive aimed at Showtime’s President, Stephen Espinoza. Recently, Eddie Hearn revealed that he saw it coming, even giving himself the name of a historical astrologer, albeit mispronouncing the name a bit.
Hearn said, “I mean there was a guy I think his name was ‘Notradamus’. He predicted that Showtime would leave the boxing business.” He added with a smile. Eddie Hearn clarified the connection between Nostradamus and boxing, addressing the curiosity that lingers in the minds of many, saying, “Look it up, Notradamus aka Eduardinio Hearn.”
There you have it. It was Eddie Hearn himself. He compared himself to the 16th-century seer, ‘Nostradamus’, asserting that Showtime had it coming, expressing his surprise that it hadn’t happened sooner.
Rumors Debunked
After the attacks from Dana White, Espinoza snubbed the rumors, saying, “It’s the same rumor we’ve been hearing since 2018. It’s usually guys who have a rooting interest against us who are spreading it.” He further insinuated that haters of the $2.2 billion-worth entity could be behind it.
