Before he took a break from boxing, Logan Paul participated in an exhibition fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. Though it was a non-scoring bout, the YouTuber, who will turn 29 on Monday, April 1, remains satisfied with going the whole distance against one of the greatest boxers in history. But as he recalled, while speaking with Graham Bensinger, there came a moment when he found himself in hot water.

Last year, on November 4, nearly two and a half years after his debut, Logan Paul won his first championship in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Prior to the feat, he scored a victory over mixed martial artist Dillon Danis in a boxing match, following the latter’s disqualification. Paul was making a comeback after a gap of 24 months. In the tête-à-tête with Bensinger, Logan Paul particularly remembered the press conference when he and Mayweather Jr. met for the first time. Unbeknownst to him, little brother Jake Paul had other plans in store.

Graham Bensinger seemed curious to know. He asked whether there was any planning behind the infamous incident when ‘The Problem Child’ snatched away ‘The Money’s cap. Bursting into a hearty laughter, Logan Paul replied, “Yes, yes.” Or was it the same from the boxing great’s end as well? Bensinger wanted to understand the undefeated former champion’s reaction. Logan Paul denied it vehemently. He revealed that the episode left Floyd Mayweather Jr. very angry, swearing revenge. As a result, Jake Paul has never been without a proper security detail.

‘The Maverick’ said, “No f*ck no, oh my God, no no no no Floyd was pissed, dude… Jake has not been without a security guard since that moment I think I think Floyd’s going to try to kill Jake… like real threats in Miami.” He further explained the concern, especially given the clout Floyd Mayweather Jr. enjoys in Florida. “What we know about Miami bro Floyd’s Floyd knows Miami; he’s been around the block he got he got goons who kill a man for 200 bucks.

When Graham Bensinger asked whether the incident left him angry over his brother, the elder Paul replied in the affirmative. He revealed that Jake Paul was telling him that he would be carrying out such an act. However, ‘The Maverick’ never thought that his younger brother would pull it off in real. He felt that the latter had indeed put him in trouble. On the one hand, he was worried about Jake Paul’s safety. Then it also bothered him whether his intervention would lead to some injuries, thereby preventing his participation in one of the most significant incidents of his life.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Jake Paul: rumble outside the ring

Soon, a verbal spat flared up between the two.

Then, finding an opportunity, ‘The Problem Child’ just grabbed Mayweather Jr.’s cap and turned away to run, shouting, “Gotcha hat.” A brawl followed, and Mayweather Jr. tried to retrieve his cap. Eventually, Logan Paul also joined. The security detail quickly intervened, trying to separate everyone. Later, fans saw an angry Mayweather Jr. shouting a mouthful of expletives.
