Music can certainly help one relax their nerves. Likewise, professional athletes often find escape through music ahead of their biggest matches. Ahead of the highly anticipated bout against Jermell Charlo, the Mexican boxer, Canelo Alvarez also took refuge in music. In fact, artist Santa Fe Klan visited Alvarez’s locker room to keep the latter relaxed and entertained.

Although Santa Fe Klan clearly enjoyed himself, it is hard to say whether or not Alvarez appreciated the former’s performance inside the locker room. However, Alvarez, who also trained with his son, nodded his head as if vibing to Fe Klan. After Showtime Sports tweeted the brief clip, a number of fans took to X and reacted. Once again Alvarez is putting the Undisputed Super Middleweight title on the line. Certainly, there is a lot at stake for the Mexican boxer. However, Alvarez has prepared himself for a knockout. And likewise, he only looks forward to trying “my best”. While Canelo must prove his doubters wrong with a laudable performance against the Undisputed Super Welterweight champion, fans only hope Santa Fe Klan’s performance does not harm Alvarez’s fight.

Completely rattled, one wrote, “Canelo is gonna lose with sh*t like this“.

Meanwhile, one wondered if Fe Klan was the “Mexican island boy”.

Before Charlo, Alvarez fought John Ryder and Gennady Golovkin with the four Super Middleweight titles on the line. Although he won via UD in his last fight against Ryder, a section of the boxing world criticized his performance and declared that he was on the decline.
