Francis Ngannou is leaving no stone unturned in his prep for facing world heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury. FightHub TV uploaded a video recently. We can see Ngannou sparring with none other than Carlos Takam, the former opponent of Anthony Joshua. The highly anticipated fight is set to take place on October 28, drawing a live audience of thousands at the stadium and millions of viewers worldwide.

Despite Fury’s status as a world heavyweight champion, this marks Ngannou’s debut in boxing. Ngannou’s formidable punching prowess has knocked out 12 of his 20 opponents. Notably, he is receiving training from the legendary Mike Tyson, enhancing his preparation for the match. So how did the sparring session between the two go?

In the video, we see the two inside the ring, trying to assess each other, looking for an opening to land a punch. Mike Tyson stands by the ropes with another team member, content with how his student is performing. Between the sparring, they also discuss a few things inaudible in the video, possibly about the session itself.

“And when we start talking about Francis Ngannou, the first thing that comes to mind is his deleterious level of power. On record, I think in the Guinness Book of World records as the hardest punching person alive that’s been reported equating his punches to an accident in a medium-sized sedan,” said the team member expressing confidence on Ngannou’s punching power. Speaking about the training, he said, “It’s all about precision, placement and timing and these are the factors that we’ve been working on”. Ngannou has already impressed Tyson with his quick learning abilities and power. We are yet to see how he executes it in the ring.
