Come the 25th of November, a series of fights will take their course in the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. In a Premier Boxing Champions event, David Benavidez will fight against Demetrius Andrade to defend his WBC interim super middleweight title. Headlining the co-main event on the 25th of November is Jermall Charlo. The WBC middleweight champion enters the ring after more than two years, his absence owing to his struggles with mental health. In the WBC non-title event, he will battle it out against José Benavídez Jr for ten rounds. The night will also feature IBF 140-pound world champion Subriel Matías. The hard-hitting fighter will go against unbeaten mandatory challenger Shohjahon Ergashev.

For the telecast opener, WBA Super Featherweight World Champion Héctor Luis Garcia will be testing his boxing prowess against his mandatory challenger Lamont Roach. The high-profile event has nudged fans to rise in excitement.

The public sentiment ahead of the big night

With the undercard details coming to light, the boxing world has resounded in complete approval for the matchups. One fan echoed the majority sentiment.

There will be two faces from the Benavidez family that will enter the ring on fight night. One, David ‘El Monstruo’ Benavidez seeks to defend interim title against ‘Boo Boo’ Andrade; and the other, his older brother Jose Benavidez. The latter fights in the co-main event.
