If you thought that Floyd Mayweather only wears high-end brands, you are mistaken. In a shocking display, the former welterweight champion chose kicks by H&M over his Nikes. However, while that might have raised some eyebrows, it was followed by his watch collection that screamed ‘luxury’, bringing his fans back to the pavilion.

It is estimated that ‘Money’ is worth a sterling $450 million at least. Most of this wealth has come from the fights he participated in during his 50-0 career. The money flowed in from his establishment, Mayweather Promotions, endorsements, and other boxing-related ventures, such as his flagship gyms. With the riches pouring in, he has found an outlet to spend them. Where, you ask? Well, the answer to that question lies in the crown of being a fashion icon.

While most save up massive bucks to procure their dream pair of Nike shoes, Mayweather deflected from such expectations. In a clip shared by his daughter, Iyanna (Yaya) Mayweather, on her Instagram stories, the 46-year-old was seen disposing of some expensive-looking Nike kicks while he donned a pair from the multinational clothing brand H&M, known for its rather affordable range of options. Shocked? Well, his other posts that speak opulence attribute to the shock.

Decked in his athleisure outfit, ‘Pretty Boy’ explained in the clip that he was at an H&M store and happened to come up on the new shoes. He said, holding out his Nike shoes, “I am at H&M, check my new kicks out. My new kicks… [holding his Nikes ahead] these are going in the trash. [drops the pair in the bin] H&M, What’s up, baby?”

Was it a video in all its jest or was it a hint at something else? Well, it’s the house of Mayweather, and if mystery did not exist, would it be the clan everyone talks about? In the next story, ‘Moneyyaya’ shared a close-up video of luxury watches stacked on top of each other. One of them was a TSAR BOMBA Men’s watch that generally retails for about $1000. Other watches, from the looks of it, appear to be the Limited Edition Richard Mille RM 011 and Richard Mille Swiss Mechanical Blur Ceramic. Most of these watches are limited edition and cost a significant amount for retail. But the bottom line? It’s Floyd Mayweather, and he always has the best watches in his collection. In the captions, she wrote, “Flavours for the weekend [fire emoji].”
