Floyd Mayweather Accused of Altering Gervonta Davis vs. Devin Haney Leaked Sparring Video

Devin Haney is weeks away from his fight against Ryan Garcia in Brooklyn, New York! Even though the back and forth between both corners have died down following Garcia’s bizarre social media activity in the past month, one aspect still remains the talk of the town. That’s the entire drama surrounding the leaked sparring footage of ‘The Dream’ Haney and Gervonta Davis. 

Before the first press conference for Haney vs. Garcia, the latter got close to Floyd Mayweather. During this period, ‘King Ry’ claimed Floyd shared Davin and Davis’ sparring clip with him, where Haney allegedly got beaten up. Garcia even mentioned the clip during the kick-off press conference and leaked it on social media soon afterward. Fast forward to today, during an interview, Bill Haney accused Mayweather of altering the said clip to make it look as if his son lost the fight.

Speaking to Haney, a bunch of reporters probed him about the sparring clip, enquiring whether Floyd was the one who leaked it. In response, Devin’s father claimed, “You know goddamn well Floyd leaked the video with Tank… He didn’t leak the video he made the highlight film and then gave it to Ryan Garcia to leak it.”

When another reporter brought up the end of the clip, which wasn’t shown, Bill Haney claimed they removed the end because of the same reason why Floyd had to end his boxing career. “Same reason why Floyd didn’t show the video of Devin when he got in his… Devin is the last man… Listen, [I will] tell you this, I guarantee you after Floyd got in there with Devin, he rethought boxing from a professional standpoint and not an exhibition standpoint,” Bill told the reporters.

Moreover, even Devin Haney believes Floyd Mayweather was the one who leaked the sparring clip through Ryan Garcia.

After Garcia leaked the footage, the former lightweight undisputed champion turned to X (formerly Twitter), expressing his disdain for Mayweather, who he calls a ‘miserable old man’. “Floyd [has] been hating a long time.. this ain’t just start. I held my tongue for years because I respect the greats of the sport,” wrote Haney.

Despite holding back from speaking ill of the boxing great, Haney could not stop any more from showing the world how bitter Mayweather really is. “[The] dude is a bonafide hater [and] don’t wanna see nobody win if he not a part of it! I know he sent Ryan the sparring… I know he gave Ryan those p*mp comments to say. [The] miserable old man tried to stop the fight,” wrote Haney.

With mere weeks left in the much talked about fight between Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney, Bill Haney has accused Floyd Mayweather of doctoring the Gervonta Davis sparring clip to make his son seem like the loser.
