Fans Blast Influencer Model for “Hurting the Integrity of Female Fighters” as She Pulls a Shimmy in Her Weigh-in During Misfits Event

Influencer boxing has been making headlines. When KSI fought Joe Weller in 2018, no one expected a verbal spat between two YouTubers, which turned into a boxing match. Since then, more and more influencers have been tightening their boxing gloves and testing their acumen in the sensational sport. But it seems like a particular segment of this sport is not well accepted by the fans. Many are showing their disapproval over something which happened in the recent Misfits event. The event was no less than a movie and has given rise to numerous controversies.

Two Influencer model turned boxers recently fought at the event. One of them wanted to do something playful during the weigh-in. And it is safe to say that the fans did not reciprocate her playfulness. Daniella Hemsley fought Jully Oliveira at the event. Her weigh-in created a stir among the fans, who were certainly not impressed by her gesture. Notably, Daniella Hemsley also made headlines for her rather unorthodox celebration after her victory against Oliveira.

Kingpyn Boxing took to their Instagram to share the clip from the weigh-in between both these influencer models. And, as can be seen, this weigh-in and face-off started like any other. But things changed when these two came face to face, and Hemsley thought it would be fun to do something no one was expecting.

As these two came face-to-face with each other, Hemsley shimmied her breasts to sway her opponent. Such a sleazy move from her end confused many fans who were sitting in the audience. And, to add to her shimmy’s flair, she made a noise to catch her opponent off guard. However, her opponent did not flinch. Even though it did not sway her opponent, this move caught the fans’ eyes, who are not happy.

@incognegroking is not pleased with the sexualization and believes it’s not a good look on the integrity of other female fighters. He wrote, “Listen, I get a lot of them are OF models, but they don’t need to make every single weigh-in sexual. Like it’s hurting the integrity of female fighters in the scene, and the scene overall seems more like a joke because of it. If you’re here to fight, then be serious and fight. Your sexuality does not need to be 100% of your personality.”

Another fan could not help but notice the cringe in the clip.@_liamroberts wrote,“the cringe generated is unbelievable.”

@larbrennan has branded this, as “ridiculous.” They commented, “I feel bad for the female fighters out there who actually dedicate themselves to training and fighting and don’t get a chance to showcase their skills ,this is all ridiculous carry on.”
