A lot of combat sports athletes are dwelling in the business of beverages, and that includes quite big names like Conor McGregor, Logan Paul, and Canelo Alvarez. Joining this list of elites now, is Floyd Mayweather, who has recently launched his new line of Champagne. He has partnered with Southern Glazer’s to bring the Le Bon Argent luxury Champagne to the public. Well, he has revealed great news for his new business venture, as two of its variants have been tested by The Tasting Panel Magazine.

Well, as per Mayweather’s recent Instagram Post, Rosé has been graded 95 points. Another variant, Brut, has been given 92 points. However, not many fans are supportive of Mayweather’s decision to try his luck in the alcohol business, when he doesn’t even consume it himself.

Most of the responses from the fans were against the new company and how it would portray a way of life that even Mayweather himself avoids. However, there were still some fans excited about the announcement.

One of the fans asked a burning question about how Mayweather is invested in the alcohol business since he doesn’t even drink. They wrote, “Hows floyd trying to sell this he don’t even know how it taste, he don’t drink…

Another fan commended ‘Pretty Boy’ for all of his achievements and for always striving in everything that he does. They wrote, “I congratulate you .. for your achievements. you’re in a plan of life.. enviable“.

One fan urged Mayweather to use his fame to make people’s lives better rather than turning people towards alcohol. They wrote, “You should use your platform to help people with their life, not ruin it.

A fan stated that the former 5-division champion should continue to promote his business without feeling any kind of remorse. They wrote, “Keep promoting and growing your business champ , Thank God“.

An Instagram user stated that the promotional post looks fake and entirely photoshopped. They wrote, “Everything in this photo looks photoshopped“.

So, a lot of fans had issues with Floyd Mayweather associating himself with a champagne brand, however, the criticism was sandwiched with congratulations as well.
