The night of the huge event is here, Anthony Joshua is going to face Robert Helenius tonight in a matter of hours. As the anticipation for the bout rises up, the first undercard bout of the event is already over. Moreover, it successfully set the stage for the upcoming match-ups as well. Johnny Fisher managed to triumph over Harry Armstrong via a knockdown in an impressive display of strength.

The fight was brutal from the beginning as the British heavyweight dropped Armstrong just 15 seconds into the fight and looked for an immediate K.O. Though ‘Dirty Harry’ held on and refused to go down again. Even during the second round, Fisher had already landed more punches compared to his opponent. ‘The Romford Bull’ used his powerful punches to grind down the Devon resident. The 6’6 boxer landed multiple times on the canvas throughout the fight.

It was clear who is going to win the bout at the end of it all, however, Fisher was not satisfied and relentlessly pounded Armstrong. And finally, in the seventh round, a strong right hook sent Armstrong down. However, he soon got up and the referee gave a 10 count. When the fight resumed, Fisher followed up with another combo and the referee stepped in to stop the fight ending the spectacular bout. DAZN Boxing also announced the result on social media soon after.

The fight showed both the impressive offensive strength of Fisher as well as the lasting endurance of Armstrong. As the dust settled and results came out, fans were quick to share their excitement on social media. One fan, Steve complimented, “Harry Armstrong is one hard bastard.”

Another fan Tom joked, “I’ve just realised, Harry Armstrong looks like Billy Joe Saunders.”

Meanwhile, Robson786 shared his shock over how Armstrong kept going even after taking such a ruthless beating. He wrote, “How the hell did Armstrong not go down from those bangers? What a chin!”

Damien Denny congratulated both fighters. He wrote, “That’s a great win for Johnny Fisher and Armstrong deserves a lot of credit very very game especially after that disastrous start.”

MS15 added, “Nah that bang from fisher was mad”.

Another fan John Joseph McCormack remarked, “Fisher is bad man that was a savage finish.”
