Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou‘s October fight is finally gaining momentum. In one of our times’ most significant crossover bouts, the announcement came just as the dust settled that there wouldn’t be any Fury-Oleksandr Usyk fight, at least for now. The reigning WBC Heavyweight champion made no bones about his views on the unified Heavyweight champion, especially referencing his recent battle with Daniel Dubois, which became infamous for the low-blow dispute. However, a hilarious take on the issue didn’t go down so well with many fans.

@furocity shared a short clip of the champion caricaturing the low blow. Their message read, “Fun facts with Fury…” Though nearly four thousand people liked the post, a flurry of comments trashed the shenanigans.

Settle the Usyk business first before any more brags; fans dish it out to Tyson Fury

Using the choicest expletives, the following user not only twisted Tyson Fury’s moniker but also claimed that he doesn’t dare face Oleksandr Usyk. Instead, Fury is happy spreading stories: “What’s a GYP***SY? [He] doesn’t have b**ls to get in [the] ring with Usyk and b**ches like a gossip girl… Greedy Belly.” Toeing a similar line, this fan exhorted ‘The Gypsy King’ to fight Usyk with a 50/50 split.

Calling the WBC champion a ‘coward,’ the fan even challenged that if he remains certain that he will win against the Ukrainian, he should forgo any rewards. Anyway, prize money is meaningless in comparison to the unified Heavyweight title. The fans said, “Fight Usyk, [you] coward! 50/50! But if you’re so sure about winning, do it for free! What can be more value than [a] unified HW champ title?” According to the following user, another slam in Tyson Fury’s direction is that barring social media platforms, he is too afraid to fight Oleksandr Usyk anywhere else. “Another low blow is [that] Fury [is] scared to face Usyk unless [if] it’s on social media.” The user said.

Labeling ‘The Gypsy King’ an ultimate jerk, this fan contends that Usyk won the fight clean. If need be, then he can defeat Daniel Dubois once again. Then, once he removes all the obstacles, Fury will have nowhere else to hide. “Fury is an absolute (clown) Usyk won fair and square, and we’ll do your boy DDD again if need be. The more hurdles he knocks down, the less place you have to hide, big man!

Also, the following user states that Tyson Fury is the only boxer who can simultaneously hold the ‘baddest’ and funniest’ titles in the world: “The baddest and funniest man on the planet, nobody can be both, but Fury can. What an intelligent sense of humor he has.”

Around the latter part of last year, news of a big-time clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk came about. However, as talks progressed, differences erupted. As per several reports, while the Ukrainian champion seemingly agreed to the 70/30 split for the first bout, objections arose because of the disbursal of revenue in a possible rematch.
