The man who bears the flawless record of 50-0, Floyd Mayweather, is known for his technical defensive skills. But besides his boxing prowess, he was always quite technical and smart when it also came to the business side of boxing. Mayweather is renowned for being the master of selling the most PPVs. The testament to this fact is his net worth and him being the richest boxer in the world. Although he was always portrayed as the ‘bad guy’ in the dynamics of the sport, he played along with the fans quite effectively.
More so, the anticipation that built up in every Mayweather bout was entirely out of this world. And ‘Pretty Boy’ always knew how to maneuver his way through all of these expectations. But amidst this, there were people who also wanted to see Mayweather lose, and amongst such people, a name had come forward that may be shocking for a lot of people.

In an old episode of Hollywood Unlocked, Jason Lee revealed an unexpected truth in front of Floyd Mayweather. He told him that during his last fight against Conor McGregor in 2017, he got full access to the T-Mobile Arena by mistake. And he desperately wanted to interact with Jennifer Lopez, who was with her then-boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, but he couldn’t find her. Jason Lee’s phone needed to be charged, so when he asked a girl for a charger she happened to be sitting beside J.Lo during the bout.
He further said, “She said to me that J.Lo said to her specifically, ‘I came to watch Floyd Mayweather lose.’” Lee tried to calm the girl down and didn’t consider it to be a big deal. But he then said, “She said, ‘No. I don’t care if Conor wins.’ She wanted to see you lose.”
Well, Mayweather heard this, but he came out of his ‘bad guy’ persona and talked about Lopez in a positive manner. He uttered, “I don’t know but J.Lo is hell of an entertainer. I wish her nothing but the best. She’s in a great relationship and I’m proud of her.”

Then later, he also stated that she was also there at the Miguel Cotto fight back in 2012. Even at that time, it seemed that she was in favor of Cotto, but Mayweather never took it personally. Instead, he said, “You know a lot of times we stand behind our countrymen.” Later in the interview, he complimented her singing and dancing and even expressed an interest in watching her show.
