A welcome change is always a breath of fresh air. Not only does it invigorate, but sometimes it leads to new, promising possibilities as well. It could probably be with these thoughts in mind that Ryan Garcia embarked on a vacation to the beautiful and pristine Hawaii Islands with his family and friends.

The young boxer from California has been going through a tempestuous personal journey. On one hand, he introduced his son, Henry Leo, to the world. But the happy news was followed by an unsettling one. To the surprise of many, Ryan Garcia announced he was going to part ways with his wife, Andrea Celina. Now, if only his troubles were confined to the personal sphere. In rapid succession, fans witnessed him sorting through names to select a potential opponent for the year’s first fight. His hunt continues. Given the recent sojourn, one might speculate that the Hawaii vacation provided him a much-needed clarity.

Calling out the cheerful expression ‘Chee Hoo’ that Hawaii natives often use to express sheer joy or celebrate success, Ryan Garcia said, “(PART 1) As my Hawaiian brothers and sisters would say CHEE HOO.” Then, mentioning how he and his family had a blast of a time, ‘KingRy’ shared photos from the vacation trip. “Enjoy these photos from my vacation trip I just had in Hawaii, was a blast with friends and family,” said Garcia.

The attached slides show the different activities he participated in and the places he visited. A few pictures showed him and his brother, Sean Garcia, enjoying the zip line. Aside from the regular photos of exotic locales such as beaches, fans saw a nattily attired Ryan Garcia trying his hand at golf. Then, as he always does, Ryan Garcia thanked God for his blessings and revealed that the next lot of photographs and clips would follow soon. He said, “Till next time, guys. Part 2 is coming. GOD DID! AND GOD WILL.

From the photos, Ryan Garcia appeared happy and content. Undeniably, last year’s loss to Gervonta Davis shook him a bit. But like a true fighter, he announced a comeback with a statement win over Oscar Duarte on December 2.

But thereafter, a storm of names emerged. Just when a fight with Devin Haney seemed to appear on the horizon, the news came that ‘KingRy’ would be squaring up against Rolando Romero. Fans were only coming to terms when the next bomb dropped.

Instead of ‘Rollie Romero, Garcia, and his team were looking for a match with Jose Ramirez. Later, when that also didn’t work, fans saw him calling out Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz. Things became a bit intriguing when it came out that even ‘Rollie’ had ‘Pitbull’ Cruz in his mind for the next fight. Fans are eagerly anticipating the announcement of the final contender, who will face Ryan Garcia in the next fight.
