Days After Showing Impeccable Head Movement, George Kambosos Jr Is Driven to Snub the “Underrated” Tag and “Add Another World Title Strap”

George Kambosos Jr is ready to become the world champion yet again. The tightening of the gloves, the cheer of the fans and the echoes in the stadium are something the Australian has been missing. He is prepared to make his comeback to the ring. Kambosos Jr last fought in 2022, losing his rematch against Devin Haney. He has not let two consecutive defeats define him. And, with the bout against Maxi Hughes just around the corner, he is focused on adding another title to his boxing resume.

With less than a week left for the fight, Kambosos Jr took to his Instagram to give an insight into his mindset going into this fight against Hughes. However, it should be noted that his break from the sport does not mean that he discounted his training. In fact, it is quite the opposite as he recently shared a clip showing his speedy head movement while training.

The ‘Ferocious’ is ready

Kambosos Jr took to his Instagram and shared a picture of him. His message conveyed to his fans that he is in the right frame of mind for a comeback. Moreover, he gave the fans insights into his training camp in preparation for the fight.

The former champion shared a picture of him with his fist up and wrote, “It’s FIGHT Week!! Time To Add Another World Title Strap To The Collection And Set Myself Up For Another World Title Shot Next!!FEROCIOUS Is Ready.” It seems like the goal is crystal clear for the 30-year-old. And it is a shot at a world title. Further, talking about the camp, he added, “What A Camp It’s Been, Tunnel Vision, Hard Work And Sacrifice From Sydney, To LA, To Vegas And Now To Show The World In 6 Days That Ferocious Is Back.” However, this fight is Kambosos Jr’s chance to remove the underrated tag from his name.

George Kambosos Jr has an opportunity to remove the “underrated” tag

Kambosos Jr is known for fighting who he wants at a time when many are accused of cherry-picking. According to a Tweet by @boxingkingdom, even though he is going against the current trend, many fans do not respect him for his valor. They underestimate his capabilities and so, the ‘Ferocious’ has recently responded to such a tweet.

Kambosos Jr replied to the tweet and wrote, “Ready!!! Statement incoming. Time to remind everyone who Ferocious is once again.” The former champion is ready to become the world champion again.
