During a podcast episode featuring Tyson and rapper Tony Yayo, a video was shared featuring Jackson. The video depicted an incident from the 1983 James Brown concert, where both Jackson and Prince were in attendance. Tyson aimed to reveal Jackson’s alleged attempt to humiliate Prince on stage.

In the video, Jackson can be seen approaching the stage at James Brown’s request, delivering an impressive performance. As Jackson reaches Brown, he whispers something in his ear, which Tyson claimed was a request to call Prince onto the stage. According to Quincy Jones and separate accounts, Jackson reportedly challenged Prince to follow his act, stating, “Call Prince up—I dare him to follow me.” Iron Mike also suggested that Jackson wanted Prince to join him on stage with the latter being intoxicated.
