Well, some stories refuse to fade away. An old video of a random guy taking a dig at Floyd Mayweather Jr. at what looked like a college football game seems to find a new life every now and then. It grabbed everyone’s attention as it came up early this morning. As most fans would agree, among boxing’s finest trash talkers, Mayweather Jr. stands head and shoulders above the crowd.
But unlike many, he for sure knows how to back up his talks. However, as the footage shows, the former world champion once found himself at the receiving end of a talent he specializes in. In this case, a mischievous attention grabber singled him out while Mayweather Jr. went to see a playoff. The guy called out the Hall of Fame inductee, shouting, “Floyd…Floyd, I’d knock you out ni***r.” It surely caught the boxing great’s attention, who gave a stern stare-down.
Old but still gold!

There were a few who questioned why the clip came up so often. But overall, most seemed to have enjoyed the footage. There were boxing versions of the person receiving a clampdown from Mayweather Jr. Then a few chided him for an irrational, churlish attempt.
For the following user, the footage proves that under no circumstances could the person be Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s equal. Anyway, he had to hold his neck high to look at the boxing legend. He’s just someone insignificant, the user finally added.
This just shows that the guy isn’t on Floyd’s level. He has to look up to him. Bro is minuscule in life 😂

This user pointed out that the reason the person could make such audacious comments was because Mayweather Jr. was at a stand at least a floor above. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have dared.
This follower wondered how it would have been if ‘The Money’ had chased the guy. Probably the guys would have considered even an apology!
imagine floyd went after him guy would’ve soon changed his tune 😂

This follower mentioned that Mayweather Jr. was planning to walk down to the man and would have scored a unanimous victory in their bout.

This fan toes a similar line. ‘The undefeated former champion would have outboxed the guy in a twelve-round bout.
Floyd was ready to go down there and out point him for 12 rounds. 😂🤣😂

This fan tweaked it, saying that Mayweather Jr. would have fared much better outboxing the person within seven rounds.
Floyd about to go down there and smartly outbox him for 7 rounds

Mayweather Jr. appeared clearly enraged. Perhaps it was a lucky day for the guy since the former champion avoided any sort of public confrontation.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. and John Gotti III: Exhibit 2
This year, Floyd Mayweather Jr. has had two exhibition bouts. The first one was against reality show star Aaron Chalmers. The non-scoring bout took place on February 25, just days after the former champion’s forty-sixth birthday, in London’s O2 Arena. But it was the second one that occurred closer to home and grabbed widespread notoriety. The fight against John Gotti III ended in the most disastrous fashion. Aside from the in-ring brawl between the camp followers, the entire arena witnessed a chain of scuffles and fights breaking out. Reportedly, the two might get back once again for a rematch.
