Tyson Fury and retirement talks have been giving each other company for some time. Last year, proving himself good to his word, he hung up the gloves in August only to stage a comeback to defend his WBC belt from Derek Chisora‘s challenge. Now, once again, as he prepares for one of the toughest tests of his career, rumors of his departure from the sport sprang up.
But the Heavyweight champion remains unfazed by the baseless gossip. Instead, he displays a resolve to stay stronger. Next week, he will meet former UFC Heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou in Riyadh for a ten-round non-title bout. After that, his much-anticipated fight with unified champion Oleksandr Usyk will follow in either December, or January next year. But as ‘The Gypsy King’ shares, his story is far from over. He has even hinted at things to come.

Tyson Fury unveils future after the Ngannou and Usyk showdown
Tyson Fury turned 35 in August. With two high-profile fights in his kitty, he remains adamant about staying with the sport for some more time. He dispelled all the chatter about him withdrawing from boxing. ‘The Gypsy King’ in an interview with ESPN, said, “I’m looking to sign another 10-fight deal after this, so I don’t know. I’m going to put my feelers out there and see who I can get the best deal off for another 10 fights. What else is there? … This makes me f****ing happy fighting… So it’d be stupid now to walk away from it when I’m making millions of dollars and getting loads of joy from it as well.”
Come December, and it will be fifteen years since he debuted professionally. He insists that he is still in his prime. The undefeated champion said, “Boxing is definitely more entertaining when I’m in it. I’ll say boxing will be f***ed when I’m gone.”

When asked about the upcoming fights, Tyson Fury seems pretty clear that it is ‘The Predator’ he should be more wary of instead of the Ukrainian Heavyweight champion. He reasons that not only is the Cameroonian-French fighter bigger and more powerful, but he is also more skilled and sharp. Moreover, his skills could be at another level after training under Mike Tyson. Hence, even one reasonably executed punch from him should be enough to put him to sleep.
